Shuffled off to Buffalo this week

Spent Wednesday the 7th winging my way across the northern tier of the US on my way to Buffalo NY. This is the third annual Garden Bloggers’ Fling, where we gather to yakkity yak, exchange stories, fuss over new technical issues, and of all things, see as many gardens as possible in 3 or 4 days.

Since I was in the air, I mostly READ about gardens – to my delight the latest issues of Horticulture and Organic Gardening arrived the day before I left.

I’ll post some pics of the gardens I am seeing and will share the earth shattering conclusions of our convos over the next few days.

Here’s a peek: We walked through historic Allentown for cocktails and dinner. Ten or more gardens were open for our strolling pleasure. THAT is what I call a warm welcome!
