My apologies to those of you who visit often looking for something fun to read. The week before Memorial Day is always just completely chaotic in the garden business. Everyone wanted it done……..last week! So, I have been tearing around from garden center to garden center finding all the pretties and then trying to find the muscle power to get the pretties in the ground. I am exhausted just writing about it.

And my garden, well, suffice it to say I have a rather large stash of plant material: here, there, and everywhere, hoping to keep it all alive until I get it in the ground. Bought fillers and spillers for my containers today. Not sure what the thrillers (tall and showy items) will be. Still shopping. Always on the lookout.

I am now off to the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Capitol Park, just in front of the state Capitol building, on the east side, a completely renovated park for lunching and visiting and relaxing. All put together by the Golden Garden Club of Idaho. Kudos to them for their hard work and vision.

More later and I promise to get caught up soon.

Next up: tetanus shots and suncreen.
