Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day, December ’09

Sure, you say, what exactly do you have blooming in Idaho in December? Well, I had to scramble to come up with some offerings. But scramble I did and here you have it:

A tempest in a tea pot: hand tied tea balls that open into gorgeous blossoms. This one, with appropo name: Wild Flower

I will start now, to think of blossoms in January. Boy, will I!

  1. Carol says:

Blooms are everywhere it seems. A very nice showing… an excellent showing for December!

  2. Why would anyone name a lovely flower like that after President Johnson? I can see naming it for his wife. ;^) The painting is gorgeous!

  3. Love your creativity…and the fact that your amaryllis will actually be in bloom for Christmas. Mine is still sitting on the windowsill looking very, very dormant. I generally shoot for Valentines Day…or Easter:). And yes, your painting is wonderful.

  4. Victoria says:

Ah, very nice! I had some of that tea tonight! But my amaryllis is not cooperating!
