Poinsettias: Good, bad and really ugly or Crimes against nature

A crying shame or Crimes against nature

A crying shame or Crimes against nature

It’s like computer hacking.Of non-profit websites and the like. I guess people do it because they can. Well, I hope Mother Nature bites who ever did this. I really do.

And glitter? I mean really. I think life is too short to live it without glitter, but NOT EVER ON A REAL FLOWER. They are FLOWERS. They don’t need glitter. Ever.

Thank you Robin Ripley, National Gardening Examiner and author of BumbleBee Blog for sending the photo.

You know what’s funny? I was just reading another blog’s rant against weird colored and glittered heather right before I came to this one. It must be something to do with the holidays- an infection of glitter disease.

There is a local store that has blue lights and blue ribbons and blue poinsettias. I guess she thought she had to keep the blue theme going, but please, I hope never to see another blue poinsettia.
Stop and visit and see my book and cowpot give away.

I know. I saw the glitterized poinsettias and thought “Good Grief, Charlie Brown.” I hope MN bites them too.~~Dee
