Surprisingly, here it isn't Earwigs this year (my usual nemesis) but Japanese Beetles causing most of the damage. At least they don't bother peppers. I do think I have some raccoons checking out the garden, probably scouts looking at the corn trying to calculate when I'll pick the first ears so they can drop by and pick it the night before. I don't trust 'em! And now, I'm going out to my garden to check to see if my 'Gold Nugget' cherry tomato is ready to be picked. It was almost ready yesterday.
